WHAT IS ROOTSHIELD? RootShield is the highly-effective, beneficial fungus Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22, a special hybrid strain developed in a university microbial breeding program. It provides natural, season-long control of root diseases because it grows on the entire plant root system (root colonization). Most importantly, it is non-toxic to humans, animals and is environmentally safe. WHAT DOES ROOTSHIELD BIOLOGICAL FUNGICIDE DO? RootShield protects roots from diseases caused by Pythium, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium and permits stronger, healthier root systems. It allows greater soil exploration and enhanced nutrient uptake. HOW DO I APPLY ROOTSHIELD? • No special equipment is required, saving time and money. • Compatible with many chemical pesticides (see compatibility chart). • Compatible with mycorrhizal fungi. • Can be applied with fertilizer. • Product granted "Exemption from Tolerance" for added safety.
