Victor, New York (June 23, 2003) - BioWorks, Inc. proudly announces that starting July 1, 2003, Dr. William Randolph ("Randy") Martin, Jr. will begin his position of Director of Product Development.

Randy joins the growing and prospering BioWorks to provide dedicated leadership and management for company-wide product development programs. His primary responsibility will be to coordinate research efforts to enhance current products and to identify and evaluate new product additions that support the company's mission of providing safe, environmentally responsible and cost-effective products and solutions. He will work closely with the university community and industry consultants.

Dr. Martin brings to the company vast experience in product and research development, marketing, technical service and sales support. His past professional endeavors include agricultural consulting in Avon, Indiana, Field Development Scientist at EDEN Bioscience Corp., Technical Development Team Lead at Agri Business Group, Technical Service Rep. at American Cyanamid, and Sr. Entomologist, Product Dev. at biosys, Inc. His impressive formal education includes several training classes and the following degrees: Ph.D., Entomology, Texas A&M, M.S., Entomology, Clemson Un., and B.S., Animal Ecology, Iowa State Un.
